ARANSAS PASS - Investigators in Aransas Pass have three men in custody for their alleged roles in a theft ring. Police say 22-year-old James Christopher Porter, 28-year-old Colt Ralston and 33-year-old Reynaldo Rodriguez are linked to at least nine theft cases where the stolen property is worth more than $10,000.
In a release, the department says they were able to track down Porter in Ingleside and arrest him following a foot chase. Porter allegedly confessed his crimes.
Ralston was arrested shortly after committing another burglary, according to police. He also allegedly confessed to multiple burglaries in the area.
Today, Rodriguez was arrested. No details were given on the circumstances surrounding his arrest.
Police say they expect more arrests to be made in the investigation.
