ROBSTOWN - Another malnourished horse on property in Robstown has died. The animal was in bad health and the owner of the horse, Sam Ruegg Jr., gave his consent for it to be put down.
A hearing is scheduled tomorrow morning at the Precinct 5 courtroom in Robstown where Judge Bobby Gonzales will decide if Ruegg will be charged with cruelty to animals.
Officials are currently watching over the health of 19 surviving horses after 2 were found dead last week.
