CORPUS CHRISTI - This morning temperatures managed to dip into the mid to upper 50s and lower 60s across the Coastal Bend as things warmed up quite nicely in the afternoon with 80s nearly area-wide.
Tonight, a few clouds will continue to stream overhead and may lead to an isolated drizzle spot or light shower in the early morning hours. Temperatures will climb back up into the mid to upper 60s for overnight lows with winds out of the east-southeast around 6-12mph.
Monday we'll look for a mix of clouds and sun with temperatures once again reaching the mid-80s for the inland areas and upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast. It will be fairly breezy with southeasterly winds around 10-20mph with gusts around 25.
Warm and breezy conditions will continue for Tuesday before a front arrives early Wednesday morning bringing a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms to South Texas. Temperatures will slide back into the lower 60s for overnight lows and highs dip back into the upper 70s. As the front stalls just off the coast and a few upper level disturbances move overhead from the Pacific, clouds will remain in place with a chance of showers extending till the end of the week. We'll continue to monitor those rain chances and update accordingly as we get close to mid-week.
Have a great evening!
