CORPUS CHRISTI - American Airlines has announced they will be adding two new jets at the Corpus Christi International Airport.
At a mixer held by the airport American Airlines announced the changes. Starting June 12 the airline will add two new MD-80 jets that will go to Dallas/Fort Worth. Those new jets have 135 seats plus 16 first class seats.
"In concert with everything that's happening here in the community and with the economy, and local business we... It was a perfect time," said Brett Hooyerink with American Airlines.
There will be two flights daily on these new aircrafts.
