With the district only two weeks away, our cross country team prepares for their next meet at Calallen. After waking up every morning to get to school early and run up to 5 miles, the team is ready to go out and represent Ray. "The team is working very hard to train for our district meet, and running hard every meet leading up to the final finish line," said runner Regan Lain. "We run every day before and after school." Even from the first meet, runners have been striding to improve their time, so far being fairly successful. The team is always accepting new member, and if you're interested in joining the team for the last few meets, talk to coach Delepena. "Cross country is a great way to meet new people and get in shape." -Regan Lain
