Alleged Hit and Run Driver Runs Over Self - KZTV

ROBSTOWN - Police have arrested a man who they say was involved in two hit and run accidents and then later ran himself over.

Roland Salas was allegedly involved in an accident at Navigation and Leopard in Corpus Christi and again on Avenue A in Robstown.

Shortly afterward, officers received a call for a man seen pushing his car into a parking lot on Avenue J, but he ran over his own leg.

Salas is said to match the description of the man seen in the earlier collisions. Police say he was drunk at the time.

He's charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. Police say there was already a warrant out for his arrest on another charge.
