ALICE - Authorities in Alice have tracked down a man accused of making and passing fake money around town since mid-October.
By following information from surveillance video and witnesses, Robert Douglas Reed was arrested this week at his home in Alice. Police say they found the materials needed to make counterfeit cash alongside some marijuana in his home.
According to police, the bills were between one dollar and twenty dollar denominations. He's jailed on six felony counts of forgery.
The U.S. Secret Service and Jim Wells County Deputies worked with the Alice Police Department to make the bust.
