CORPUS CHRISTI- Every year people leave loads of trash on the beach. So, thousands of volunteers headed to the Texas shoreline on Saturday and cleaned up some of that mess.
Today was the 27th annual adopt a beach event. Folks met up at Cole Park and other locations, then headed out to our local beaches to pick up trash and truly make a difference in the community.
The event started at 9 and wrapped up around noon on Saturday, the clean-up happens twice a year.
