Accident Sends Three People to the Hospital

CORPUS CHRISTI - Three people went to the hospital after an accident at Nile and S.P.I.D. and one driver might be charged with DWI. Police said a Dodge Ram Truck was stopped at a red light on the S.P.I.D. access road at Nile when the driver of a car slammed into him from behind.

Medics took the driver and passenger in the truck to the hospital for back and neck pains as well as some cuts. The driver of the car also went to the hospital with injuries and cuts. An officer on the scene said other officers were following up with him at the hospital to see if he was drunk or not. Everyone involved is expected to be okay.
