CORPUS CHRISTI - Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, who is running for governor, made a campaign stop in the city on Tuesday.
Abbott outlined his platform during a speech at Nichols pharmacy on Leopard Street.
He says, if elected, he'll fight to make sure no state resources go toward the implementation of Obamacare.
He'll also fight for greater government transparency in Austin. He said his record as AG proves his dedication to personal liberties.
"I have such a strong proven record about fighting for individual liberty, fighting back against a government that's trying to take too much of your money and run too much of your lives," Abbott said.
He also supports making it legal to openly carry handguns in public.
Abbott also wants to place stricter limits on state agencies selling personal information from public records.
