KINGSVILLE, Texas - Senior shortstop Rose Stubbs earned a spot on the Lone Star Conference Softball All-Conference team.
Stubbs was named second team All-Conference shortstop for the 2013 season. Previously, she earned second team LSC south division honors at shortstop during her first season with the Javelinas. Last year, She earned third team all-conference honors as well.
She led the team this year with a .396 batting average, the eighth highest in the Lone Star Conference. Stubbs appeared in all 51 games, had 72 hits, eight doubles and four triples. She also had 21 RBIs and crossed the plate 31 times. She also only struck out eight times the entire season. On the bases, Stubbs stole 14 times out of 15 attempts.
