CORPUS CHRISTI- Tropical storm Karen in the central Gulf is moving northward and is no threat here as the upper levels winds are out of the southwest and protection us from tropical activity. Karen will take moisture out our atmosphere resulting in very hot dry conditions ahead of our cold front arriving late Saturday night and resulting in very little rainfall with frontal passage. The main thing with this front will be the much cooler temperatures.
Today will be mostly sunny a little breezy very hot and humid with a high of 94.
Tonight will be warm and sticky but with mainly clear skies and nearly calm with a low of 74.
Saturday expect lots of sunshine only a stray shower light winds and scorching hot with a high of 95.
Expect widely scattered showers late Saturday night and early Sunday with frontal passage turning cooler with a low of 67.
It will be much cooler and in the 50's here Sunday night and Monday night.
