CORPUS CHRISTI- We ended up with very nice weather for outdoor activities for the 4th of July. Our high today was only 94 after starting at 71. The wind will continue to be generally light over the weekend but our atmosphere will be switching over to a more tropical environment on Sunday. Significant rain will occur on Monday as a weak tropical wave moves in from the east. After that we will have a return to only isolated showers Tuesday thru Thursday of next week along with much higher humidity and less comfortable conditions.
Tonight will be mainly clear and nearly calm after midnight with a low of 72.
Friday and Saturday will be mostly sunny light winds again with the exception of a late afternoon sea breeze only a lonely shower otherwise very hot and dry with a high Friday of 97 and 98 Saturday.
Sunday will be more tropical and more humid resulting in isolated showers and a high of 96.
Enjoy the rest of the long holiday weekend.
