ROBSTOWN -- The Nueces County Junior Livestock Show is now underway at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds in Robstown.
The weeklong show will feature livestock judging, a barbecue cook-off and a carnival.
Today started with the welding competition, now named in honor of A.C. Jones High School welding instructor Mike Mylnar. The beloved instructor for students in Beeville recently died from a stroke.
Tomorrow's events include the Blazing Boot 5-K Run/Walk benefit and team roping.
Events will continue each day through Jan. 20.
