7 Area Hoops Squads in State Top 25

CORPUS CHRISTI - This week's Texas Association of Basketball Coaches has seven area teams listed in the Top 25.

The Port Aransas boys remain as the Coastal Bend's highest-ranked team, sitting at number five in Class A, while in 2A the Aransas Pass boys are ranked 11th, and Skidmore-Tynan slips in at number 24.

On the girls' side, the Lady Marlins of Port Aransas are 10th in Class A, while the Aransas Pass girls are 23rd in Class 2A along with Taft, who sits 25th. And in Class 3A, the West Oso girls cruise in at 14th.
