6th Flu-Related Death in Nueces County

CORPUS CHRISTI - Nueces County Health officials say a sixth person has died from the flu.

The woman, between 30-40 years old with a history of diabetes, had not received the flu vaccine.

She died at an area hospital on Tuesday.

The other flu-related deaths reported this year include four women and one man. They all had pre-existing conditions.

The women have been between 65 and 85 years old, while the man was between the ages of 30 and 40.
