KINGSVILLE -- Former Kingsville Assistant Superintendent David Castro was caught watching porn on a school-issued laptop in a Motel 6 parking lot a month before he resigned, according to a police report.
The report, which 6 News obtained through a Freedom of Information request, said Castro was approached by officers who thought they "...interrupted self-gratification..." because Castro's pants were "...unzipped and his belt was not secure," and his "...hands were visibly shaking."
According to the report, which was filed in August, motel managers called police after noticing a car parked in the back of the parking lot for several days in a row.
Superintendent Edward Blaha said Castro resigned last month for "personal reasons." He said Castro started working for the district in March.
The district does have a computer policy which prohibits "...accessing materials that are abusive, obscene, sexually oriented...."
Castro was not arrested and does not face any charges because the porn found on his computer contained adults.
He could not be reached for comment.
