CORPUS CHRISTI - We have a 6 News Investigation Follow-up on a legal fight in the Peoples' Baptist Church between a group of former members and current leadership over who should control the ministry. The two sides have reached a settlement in the case, and the current church leadership will remain in power.
As part of the settlement, the current leadership will be more transparent about how church money is being spent.
The group of former church members who had been fighting the current leadership say they were concerned about the current pastor, Earl Mitchell.
Mitchell was accused of child abuse at his last ministry in North Carolina. He says those claims are false.
He remains pastor of the church.
