ALICE - We have a 6 News Investigation follow-up on a soccer league in Alice that never got started. As we've reported, many parents paid anywhere from $30 to $70 per child to play in the Alice Youth Soccer League last spring.
Now, the Alice Police Department says 41 parents have come forward about the case.
6 News talked to parents who say that a woman named Matilde Guerrero took the entry fees for the league, but never started it. Alice PD says that more parents are still coming forward.
They say that so far, they've received reports totaling at least $1,500 in entry fees.
Officials say they are still accepting reports from parents and will present those reports to the District Attorney.
