CORPUS CHRISTI - The combined efforts of the Corpus Christi Police Department and the Department of Public Safety resulted in 55 lbs of marijuana being taken off the city's streets this Sunday.
Authorities say they used a K-9 unit to find 45 lbs. of marijuana in a truck parked in the 4400 block of Bluefield. A search of the home turned up another 10.5 lbs of marijuana and 38 grams of cocaine, according to police.
Three men in the home were arrested. Miguel Roman, 29, Juan Vera, 35, and Sergio Gonzales, 30, are all charged with felony possession of marijuana.
Investigators say they also seized three vehicles, digital scales, packaging materials, and electronic media from the home.
