All systems go for the 4th of July. Typical summer weather will give us a mostly sunny day with highs near 94. A plume of tropical moisture is moving into the region so expect some isolated showers trigger by afternoon heating. These showers will be mostly inland away from the beaches. Isolated showers can be expected again on Saturday with a decrease in chance by Sunday. Monday through Wednesday looks hot and humid.
Hurricane Arthur is rolling over the North Carolina coast and headed out to sea. Next stop for Arthur will be the Cape Cod area and a bit of New England over the weekend.
