CORPUS CHRISTI - Health department officials confirmed the first three flu related deaths in Nueces County. According to the department, three women between the ages of 65 and 85 have passed away within the last two weeks.

The Corpus Christi- Nueces County Public Heath District reports Tuesday morning, its supply of childrens flu shots is now gone. But the health department says it does still have flu vaccines for people 65 and older.

Another shipment of flu vaccines is expected to arrive Friday. At this point it is unknown whether the new shipment will only be for uninsured or availible to everyone.

In the mean time the heath department recommends looking for vaccines at local doctors offices and pharmacies.
