3 Arrests So Far for 2 Drive-by Shootings in Falfurrias

FALFURRIAS - Two people are now in custody in Falfurrias for a drive-by shooting that resulted in a car crash Sunday night on Noble Street. Adriana Quintanilla and Roberto Garcia Jr are charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Police say their intended target was not hit by gunfire, but he did veer off the road where he slammed into a carport and a truck.
About half an hour later, there was another shooting on Noble Street. Omar Rivas, 26, was shot and killed by someone who pulled up next to his truck.
Juan Cervantes, 22, surrendered to police the next morning for his alleged role in the murder. Police say he was the triggerman in the murder of Rivas.
The driver of the vehicle is still wanted by police. Eliazar Javier Garcia, or EJ, faces a charge of murder.
