DALLAS (AP) - Authorities say 20 North Texas residents have been indicted and more than 600 marijuana plants seized in a drug ring investigation.
Federal prosecutors in Dallas on Friday announced the indictments on charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana. Some of the suspects from the Dallas-Fort Worth area also face money laundering counts in cases since 2010.
Investigators say more than half of the defendants have been arrested as part of the multi-agency drug suspect sweep.
