2 Found Dead In Victoria Apartment

VICTORIA - Victoria police are investigating the deaths of a couple found dead in their apartment of apparent stab wounds.

Police Lt. Caleb Breshears tells The Victoria Advocate that the bodies of 51-year-old Bennie Ray Dupnik and a 44-year-old Sandra Rivera were discovered Saturday evening by Rivera's son.

Breshears says the victims suffered apparent stab wounds and officials suspect foul play.

Sgt. Eline Moya says the investigation is ongoing and no suspects have been identified.

Victoria is located about 130 miles southwest of Houston.
