DALLAS (AP) - Two men have been arrested after Dallas County sheriff's deputies pulled over a vehicle for speeding and discovered a man who had been robbed and kidnapped by two men in the car following a traffic accident.
The sheriff's office says deputies pulled over the car Sunday morning when 34-year-old Manuel Torres stepped out of the vehicle and said he'd been kidnapped and robbed.
Forty-three-year-old Gregory Ramos Guzman and 38-year-old Ruben Segoviano, each face an aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping charge. Both were being held Monday in the Dallas County jail. Online jail records did not list an attorney for Guzman. An attorney listed for Segoviano didn't immediately return a call for comment.
The suspects' vehicle had collided with the victim's vehicle earlier and the suspects demanded money for the damage.
