$189K Seized by Kingsville Narcotics Task Force

KINGSVILLE - Nearly $200,000.00 was seized during a traffic stop in Kingsville Monday.
Twenty six bundles of cash totaling $189,000.00 was found inside a hidden compartment in the car.
Officials say Narcotics Task Force Agents stopped the white Toyota on Highway 77 at County Road 2230.
During a search of the vehicle, agents noticed fresh bondo in the area of the right front passenger wheel well.
After a closer look, bundles of the money wrapped in foil was discovered.
The 30 year old driver was arrested and charged with money laundering.
