1 Man Dead in Falfurrias Drive-by Shootings

FALFURRIAS - Two people are now in custody in Falfurrias for suspected gang-related activity on Noble Street that resulted in a man's murder last night.
Police say a someone shot at a man as he was driving, causing him to lose control, crashing into a carport. The intended victim wasn't injured by gunfire, but did suffer minor injuries in the crash.
Roughly 30 minutes later, 26-year-old Omar Rivas was shot and killed in his truck on Noble Street. Police say a passenger in another vehicle opened fire on Rivas.
22-year-old Juan Cervantes surrendered this morning to police on a murder charge.
Investigators are looking for two others accused in the shootings.
