News Image

CORPUS CHRISTI- We had a terrific weather day rain wise as much of the area had beneficial rain with many prime farm and ranching areas receiving in excess of two inches (see totals below.) Temperatures today were held down by the rain and clouds with a weak cold front yet to come. Here are the details.

Unsettled weather over South Texas for a change with some badly needed rainfall has now moved well east of the area. This was the best rain events for the area so far this year. A weak cold front comes in behind this upper air system Thursday and will be followed by a strong cold front early next week that will produce light rain behind the front and much cooler temperatures nearly all of next week.

Tonight expect decreasing winds, still mild with areas of dense fog forming and a low of 61.

Thursday we will have decreasing cloudiness very light winds and continued warm with a high near 80.

It will be a little cooler but very nice on Friday behind our weak cold front.
