CORPUS CHRISTI - This week's Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Top 25 features eight area teams. On the boy's side Port Aransas remains the highest ranked team in any classification as the Marlins are 5th in Class A.

While in Class 2A Aransas Pass is ranked 11th and Skidmore-Tynan is ranked 22nd.

Meanwhile five area girls teams cracked the Top 25, including newcomers Ray who slip in at number 25 in Class 4A. In Class 3A West Oso is ranked 12th, while in Class 2A Taft is 24th, and Aransas Pass is 25th. And finally the Port Aransas girls are ranked 9th in Class A.
