BISHOP - During the football season we made 11-stops at 11-different McDonald's hosting our Friday Night Fever Pep Rallies.
Every single school showed tremendous spirit, with hundreds of student athletes showing up for each and every pregame party.
But in the end it was the Bishop Badgers, one of the smaller schools to host a pep rally, who showed the most spirit absolutely rocking the McDonald's in Kingsville.
So today we surprised them with a $1,500 check and their very own feature story. Click the video watch the presentation.
"Even though we are a small community and a small team we got a lot of heart and I am glad everybody came out and supported us... We got a big community," said Badger Football Player Victor Vera.
"We are just super excited we are a close school that comes together and I am glad it showed in this competition," said Cheer Captain Andria Ramirez.
This was the first year that we held the scholarship contest.
