Cloudy & Windy Today

News Image

CORPUS CHRISTI - The end of the work week looks to hold moderately windy conditions as a weak pacific front approaches the area from our west. In response to this, we will have somewhat gusty winds move in from the Gulf of Mexico this afternoon with winds approaching 25-30mph. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect from noon until late this afternoon. Boaters and mariners should exercise caution out on the waters today.

This afternoon, look for mostly cloudy skies with a couple of patches of drizzle or a light shower possible. Rainfall amounts will not be impressive. Afternoon highs will hover in the upper 70s to lower 80s inland.

Tonight, the winds will calm down late in the evening as mostly cloudy skies stick around with some patch fog possible. Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 60s.

The weak Pacific front will linger around South Texas for much of Sunday and may cause a wind shift to the west early in the day and will begin to move out later in the evening and may spark an isolated thunderstorm or two, most of the activity will fire up offshore.

Have a great weekend!
