WASHINGTON, D.C.- Talks aimed at avoiding the so-called 'Fiscal Cliff' are continuing in Washington.
President Obama and House Speaker John Boehner met for just under an hour Thursday evening.
It was their second face-to-face meeting in five days.
Boehner returned to Capitol Hill without comment, and President Obama did not mention the meeting when he later spoke at a Hanukkah event.
The two men are trying to reach an agreement before automatic tax increases and spending cuts kick in on January first.
