CORPUS CHRISTI - 7 people are sent to the hospital after a major accident at Clarkwood and Highway 44.

The collision happened around 7 o'clock after the driver of the car ran the stop sign and slammed into a white truck.

The passengers of the truck had to be cut out with the jaws of life after being stuck inside. Two of the seven victims are listed in serious condition, but everyone is expected to recover.

Icerays' Quenneville Named CHL All-Star

Icerays captain Justin Quenneville has been named a CHL All-Star for the second time in his four seasons in Corpus Christi.

The 26-year-old forward from Montreal is tied for the team lead in points with 22, scoring 11 goals and tallying 11 assists in 28 games.

Quenneville will skate for the South Texas squad, which will be made up of players from Laredo, Corpus Christi and Rio Grande Valley. The opposing team will be comprised of players from the remaining 12 CHL teams.
