Eric Dimick, Jacob Musich and Colton Visor have all been indicted on charges of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Police say the trio kidnapped a girl who was riding her bike along Braesvalley drive in late December. According to court documents, the girl was sexually assaulted and left on the beach about an hour after she was abducted.

All three men are being held on $1 million bond. A trial date has not been set.

Dimick Denied Lower Bond on Kidnapping Charge

CORPUS CHRISTI - One of the teens accused of kidnapping an 11-year old Corpus Christi girl just after Christmas was in court today for a bond reduction hearing.

On December 27th police say the girl was riding her bike along Braesvalley drive with her brother. A suburban pulled up and three men grabbed the girl and drove off with her. Court documents indicate the girl was sexually assaulted. She was dropped off on the island about an hour after she was abducted.

As 17-year old Eric Dimick walked into court he kept his head down not making any type of eye contact with anyone. Eric was in court to ask the judge to reduce his bond. The prosecution was quick to point out why it thinks the 1 million dollar bond should stay right where it is.

"We are asking that the bond be appropriate considering the safety of the community and our children that are walking their dog at 7:00 just enjoying their time out," said prosecuting attorney Kim Gonzalez.

Prosecutors are also concerned that if Eric made bond, he'd live with his parents, who live less than a mile from where the victim lives.

But Eric's father, Michael, took the stand and told the judge why he'd like his son to be granted a bond reduction.

Michael says over the past four years Eric had been admitted to the Adolescent Psych Ward at the Christus Spohn Hospital, then put in a drug rehab program, and after the holidays he was supposed to be placed in a Residential Treatment Facility for constant monitoring. Michael says all that treatment was for Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder, Depression, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and substance abuse. With the bond as high as it is, Eric's dad can't afford to get him out of jail. Therefor having him stay behind bars, he feels Eric won't get the treatment needed.

"It is our desire that he not stop the treatment we have aggressively done to this point. We would like to keep it going no matter what the outcome," said Michael Dimick.

But even after hearing what Eric's father had to say, the judge denied the reduction of Eric's bond. We caught up with Michael after the trial and he wouldn't answer most of our questions but did say this, "I feel for everybody."

Eric is the only one who has requested a bond reduction. All three are being held on a 1-million dollar bond each for aggravated kidnapping. But during today's hearing, the prosecuting attorney said she anticipates additional charges.

CORPUS CHRISTI -- The District Attorney says the three kidnapping suspects, involved in taking the 11-year-old girl, could face additional charges.

All three men are already charged with aggravated kidnapping. D.A. Mark Skurka says the investigation is on-going, but an arrest affidavit indicates the victim told police she was sexually assaulted. Today Skurka said investigators have obtained a warrant to search the suspect's vehicle and may find more evidence.

Skurka says pending additional findings and DNA test results will determine whether or not the three suspects, Eric Dimick, Jacob Musich and Colton Visor will face additional charges, such as aggravated sexual assault. At this point, Skurka says the aggravated kidnapping charges stem from either the victim's age being under 14 or the possible intent the suspects may have had to sexually assault the victim.

CORPUS CHRISTI - The suspects in last week's kidnapping of an 11-year-old girl could face charges of aggravated sexual assault. Police affidavits on all three suspects released this afternoon state the girl told detectives that while she was blindfolded, one of the suspect used some type of lubricant and penetrated her vagina.

The girl told police she was able to see three white males in the vehicle when her blindfold came off for a quick second.

For now, Jacob Musich, 18, Colton Visor, 18, and Eric Dimick, 17, are being held in the Nueces County Jail on one million dollars bond each for a charge of aggravated kidnapping.

The affidavit includes claims made by a witness that Eric Dimick had admitted to kidnapping the girl with Musich and Visor on December 27th. The same witness claims that Dimick said the three accused "were discussing doing a kidnapping and they just happened to come upon" the victim. The witness further claims "Dimick told them that they discussed 'raping' the victim."

The 11-year-old girl was taken after dark while riding her bike in the 7000 block of Braesvalley. According to the affidavit, she was walking with her 13-year-old brother at the time. Right after she was taken the boy ran home to tell his parents what happened.

Witnesses said they saw a dark colored Chevy Suburban with a loud muffler flee the scene. Investigators ran the license plate provided by witnesses and tracked down an older model Chevy Suburban registered to a man with the last name of Musich. According to police, the Suburban has a loud Magna Flow exhaust system.

A little over an hour after the girl was taken she flagged down someone for help along Park Road 22. She told police she was dropped off at the beach.

Musich, Dimick and Visor were all arrested in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 30th.

All three affidavits for the suspects are identical, other than the suspect's names.

CORPUS CHRISTI - Police are still searching for suspects involved in kidnapping an 11-year old girl last night near the 7000 block of Braesvalley Drive near Everhart. Concerned neighbors called 911 after they say they heard the desperate screams from a child.

Ruben Hernandez lives on that street right near the corner where the little girl was abducted. He says he was on his way home from h-e-b when a suspicious car blew by him.

"The people are yelling they took a kid they took a kid, call 9-1-1 so I just called 911. I was coming home from the grocery store and there was a suburban looking truck coming down without lights," Hernandez said.

He says he flashed his brights at the car, not knowing a helpless child was inside.

"That's when I flashed him, he had the lights off, I didn't realize at the time it was the abductor," Hernandez said.

Police say three white males in their early twenties were in the vehicle that could possibly be a Suburban.

Neighbors say the suspects left the girl's bike lying on the sidewalk and sped off. There are marks on the sidewalk where neighbors say the yellow bike was left when the SUV took off Northbound on Braesvalley drive.

"There was a lady at the corner that saw the bike, the guy, the little kid get taken from the bike and screaming and yelling and they went tearing down the street and her dad got in his truck and started chasing him but he lost him," Hernandez said.

He says after calling police all he could think about was the little girl.

"I just started praying for the little girl, that they'd find her and she'd be safe."

Police say the 11-year old was dropped off an hour after being kidnapped near the beach at Seapines and Park Road 22 where police picked her up and took her to Driscoll Children's Hospital to be checked out and she was released back to her family.
