The driver of the van did not survive the crash. It took more than an hour to free a woman in her 20's from the wreckage of the Dodge Durango. Initial reports indicate she has severe injuries.

Halo Flight has confirmed a 2-year-old boy was also flown from the accident scene to Driscoll Children's Hospital with serious injuries. A trooper says the second child in the SUV, a 2-month-old baby, was taken to a hospital in Beeville.

There's no further information on the identity of the driver who perished in the crash.

Repairs on the stretch of Kostoryz should last through most of next week. Traffic will only be impacted from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

CORPUS CHRISTI - There have been no reports of ice hazards on local roads, but we did find evidence of just how cold it got this morning.

Out along I-37 and Violet Road we found some road signs with icicles hanging off them. It's not something we're used to seeing in this part of South Texas. While they may be pretty to look at you sure don't want to be caught driving on ice.

Slick roads contributed to a rollover accident along Interstate 37 near McKenzie Road. The driver of a pickup says she was headed to work when an 18-wheeler cut her off and she ended up rolling her truck several times.

She was wearing a seatbelt and will be alright. Once medics checked her over she got a ride to work.

TxDOT and Corpus Christi police have been monitoring our roads all morning and so far there haven't been any closures. They do remind everyone, however, that you do need to slow it down on the wet roads.

TxDOT crews laid out sand along the Harbor Bridge this morning, just in case.

It got cold enough this morning for ice to form on some cars across in Portland. Just enough for folks to notice when they came outside to warm up their cars. Most ran back inside right afterwards to avoid the bitter cold.

Postal workers don't have a choice in the matter. They're prepared for inclement weather. One worker told us this is the first time he's worn gloves in a long time.

As for the ice, there was enough moisture and bitter cold for chunks of ice to form on the mast of our live truck at Whataburger field this morning.

CORPUS CHRISTI - Expect to see a lot of Corpus Christi Police Department officers and Department of Public Safety officers looking for aggressive drivers this week.

This morning, quite a few commuters were pulled over on Interstate 37, S. Padre Island Drive, and Highway 181 as part of an anti-aggressive driving campaign.

Roughly 200 drivers received speeding tickets this morning. Officers and troopers will be back out for a repeat this afternoon.

Aggressive driving is defined as going more than 20 miles over the speed limit on any road and more than 10 miles over the speed limit in a school zone. The fines are up to $500 per offense. The Corpus Christi city council approved the aggressive driving ordinance last fall.

According to the Corpus Christi Police Department, this effort will last a few days, but more events are expected throughout the year.
