CORPUS CHRISTI - Local Girl Scout Elizabeth Schmidt stopped by Six News at Noon on Friday to talk about her experience in Girl Scouts.
Schmidt says she loves the Girl Scouts, and her experience in scouting, specifically selling cookies, gave her the confidence to start her own jewelry business.

CORPUS CHRISTI - Thirty children from Oak Park Elementary will get bikes and helmets today.
It's part of the 11th annual bike donation initiative by Academy Sports.
The store provides the bikes and helmets, and the school chooses the children who deserve the reward based on academic performance, attendance, good behavior and need.
The bikes and helmets are valued at $3,000.
The children will pick up their bikes at the school at 2:00 p.m.

CORPUS CHRISTI- The 24th annual HEB Feast of Sharing is coming up on Christmas Eve from 11am to 3pm at the American Bank Center.
Thirteen thousand free meals will be provided at the event, and plenty of volunteers are needed.
