    Five agencies are on the scene of a large brush fire near Bishop. The fire is burning off of CR 85 and FM 70. Annaville, Bishop, Agua Dulce, Kingsville and Navy crews are all out battling the flames. Limited information is known at this time but we have been told that the fire began in a structure and spread to a nearby field. We will post updates here to kristv.com as soon as they come in.

    A new law on knives in Texas means long knives like swords, daggers and even machetes soon will be legal to carry in public.     Municipal Court Judge Young Min Burkett hopes to know more about returning to the bench after she was put on unpaid leave when it was discovered she was not an American citizen. A final vote on whether to reinstate Burkett will be held at Tuesday's city council meeting.  In May, Burkett was given 90-days to become a citizen, which she recently did. A first vote was held last week on whether or not to give Burkett her position back. Council members Lucy Rubio and Carolyn Vaughn...
