Hooks: Team to Stay in Corpus Christi After Sale to Astros Owner

CORPUS CHRISTI - The Corpus Christi Hooks organization says the pending purchase of the team by Houston Astros owner Jim Crane will not affect the AA-club's long-term future at Whataburger Field.

Reports: Reid Ryan to be named President of Houston Astros

CORPUS CHRISTI - According to several media outlets, Hooks Owner and C.E.O. Reid Ryan will be the named the president of the Houston Astros in a press conference on Friday.
The position with the Astros became available when when George Postolos announced he was stepping down on Monday.
