Car Hits Child In Aransas Pass

ARANSAS PASS -- Authorities said a car hit a child Sunday night as the boy walked along Gillespie and Wheeler Streets with his mother.

Emergency responders started performing C.P.R. when they arrived. Paramedics said they plan to send the boy via Halo Flight to Driscoll Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi.

Details on the boy's injuries were not immediately clear.

Man Robs Gas Station Clerk at Gunpoint

(CORPUS CHRISTI) - A man is on the run after police say he robbed a gas station at gun point. Police say the man walked into the PMI gas station on Tancahua Street and pointed a handgun at the clerk -- demanding money. Authorities say the clerk handed over some cash and the guy took off. A couple witnesses say he got into a green pickup truck. The store does have security cameras. Detectives say they're looking at the tapes and they hope it'll help them find the guy.

City Trucks Burglarized in Repair Shop's Lot

CORPUS CHRISTI - Thieves struck several city vehicles parked outside a Blackie's Welding shop off Ayers overnight.

The trucks were in the shop for some repairs when thieves got into the toolboxes.

Officials have not told us what was taken. The trucks were behind a padlocked fence.
