On Sunday another cold front will push through the region with a line of showers. Monday will see a return of pleasant autumn weather. Today: Sunny and pleasant. High 82. Wednesday: Sunny and warmer. High 84. Thursday: Partly cloudy and more humid. Isolated showers. High 85.

    The cold front that blew through the area yesterday brought northerly winds to much of the Coastal Bend on Sunday.  The cooler and drier air was lagging a bit behind the initial frontal boundary, but by this morning it was clearly evident that it had arrived.  Dewpoints today were 20-40 degrees drier compared to yesterday afternoon and highs struggled to reach the lower 80s under deep blue skies and plenty of sun.
